WE LOOK FORWARD TO WELCOMING YOU TO YORKSHIRE
Northern Monk
We are once again delighted to sponsor the Three Peaks Race. We’ve been supporting the event for a few years now and are always inspired and amazed by the efforts of everyone who takes part.
This part of the world is a special place for Northern Monk. We’re proud of our Northern roots and our core beers’ designs are often inspired by the landscape the Three Peaks Race covers. In fact, the Ribblehead Viaduct appears prominently on Faith, our most popular beer.
This year, each heroic competitor can enjoy a can of Three Peaks, a 3.4% crisp, refreshing, golden ale. For those who don’t want alcohol, we’ll also have with us Holy Faith, our award-winning alcohol-free hazy pale ale, and Holy Hop Water, fresh Northern sparkling water infused with hops. Available from the bar in the main marquee.
Good luck to everyone taking part in this year’s event, and we’ll see you at the finish!

Clayton Legends mark Three Peaks Race Anniversary
This April the Three Peaks Race Association will celebrate the 70th anniversary of the 1st race.
The Race Association gives an award to all women who complete 15 races and each man who completes 21 races. Each of these Clayton Legends has raced the Three Peaks at least 21 times! Over the years only 54 awards have been made, an amazing 20 of these have gone to Clayton le Moors Harriers. Club President David Scott is the “King of the Race” having completed 48 races!
The group met up at Horton in Ribblesdale railway station, in some proper fell runner’s weather. Clayton member and race photographer Stephen Fish kindly took photographs. A very enjoyable meal followed at the Knights Table restaurant, Little Stainforth with lots of excellent conversation, reminiscing of previous times, races and club members past.
This year’s race is on Saturday 27th April. It’s one of the most famous races in the running calendar. Entries are open and you have plenty of time to train!
Who’s who Left to Right
Robert Hargreaves, Roger Dewhurst, Pete McWade, Katy Thompson, Jon Sharples, Dennis Beresford, David Scott, Martin Brady, Harry Walker, Kieran Carr, Andrew Orr, Brian Horrocks.
The other Clayton award holders are Wendy Dodds, Richard Wilkinson and deceased members Stan Bradshaw, Alan Heaton, Alistair Patten, George Brass, Ed Hill and Don Talbot. Legends indeed!

A welcome message from INOV8
FORGED IN THE FELLS OF NORTHERN ENGLAND IN 2003 INOV8 IS CELEBRATING TWO DECADES OF SUPPORTING TRAIL, FELL AND MOUNTAIN RUNNING!
We are delighted to be sponsoring the iconic Three Peaks Race for an eighth year and once again eagerly looking forward to our return to Horton-in-Ribblesdale.
Working alongside Pete Bland Sports in the event field, we will be out in force to celebrate a special year in which we’ve already undergone our first-ever rebrand. As part of that we’re launching a collection of brand new running shoes, the first of which was the MUDTALON SPEED.
We also hope to be joined by several INOV8 ambassadors, many of whom will be aiming to challenge for race-day podium places.
INOV8 as a business has come a long way in the past two decades. Our origins and footprints remain firmly etched into the muddy British fells but over the years we have optimised our products to meet the needs of the many terrains we have travelled.
Now boasting footwear, clothing and equipment for all types of running, hiking and fitness, please do come and see us in the event field to check out our rebranded collection and chat about both the past and future. It’s fair to say that a lot has happened since that first-ever MUDROC 290 shoe!
Good luck to everyone racing the 2024 Three Peaks Race.
